Campervan Hire Poland
Poland is a place that has taken a big hit during World War 2. With that being said, a lot of it was often destroyed by bombing and other war-related problems. However, Poland has still remained a great and beautiful place to visit for young and old alike. If you are a lover of not only world war history, but nature as well – you’ll find yourself pleasantly surprised by what Poland offers. It has a long coastline that rests upon the Baltic Sea, which provides great coastal views and often serves as a place for many great writers, painters, and photographers to craft their masterpieces. Cities in Poland like Kalisz and Elbląg were first mentioned in the first century AD by Romans, and history is known to reach back even before then! With a population of over 38 million, Poland is quite a lovely place, full of awesome people and culture. Luckily, you get great scenic landscapes as well!

Recommended campervan Hire Poland Drives
Warsaw to Krakow :
First and foremost, the drive from Warsaw to Krakow is one of the most famous. Heading for 4 hours on the S8 and DK1, you’ll need to stop in small non-touristy towns like Sandomierz to get some true Polish culture. You could also make a stop in Tokarnia and see the small village. Once in Krakow though, you’ll need to see one of the most famous drives in Europe which leads you through the infamous Tatra Mountains. Here, you’ll find a place dotted with an abundance of little tiny churches and some awesome mountainous hikes. You’ll also need to drive from Krakow southwest to see places like Auschwitz and Birkenau, which are not the most amazing drives – but definitely need to be mentioned to get a glimpse of the horrors and atrocities that took place during World War 2.
UNESCO World Heritage Center Wieliczka Salt Mine:
On a lighter note however, one cannot miss the drive to the UNESCO World Heritage Center Wieliczka Salt Mine. You’ll get to experience ancient Roman structures built from salt and also a bunch of underground lakes with an extensive history to match! Most of these can luckily be done while driving to the Tatra Mountains.
